Story update and general rambling

under_the_silk_treeI am now 4700 words into my newest story, and I haven't even got into the heart of it yet. I think it is going to be my longest one to date. Before that my longest was 7600 words completed. So I am super excited but the word count doesn't really matter, I just want the story to be good. There are a lot of really good writers in the NCIS fandom and so I don't want to mess up.
It is an NCIS AU focusing on Tim. Gen.
Of course the cold and flu season has been hitting my house hard and so I haven't been able to write as much as usual so it is slow going and kind of destroys momentum. I seem to have caught every cold that has come down the pipe this year. I need to figure out how to increase my immune system.
Then I had another plot bunny jumping around my head asking for attention. This one was for the show Burn Notice. H/C, focusing on a client that Sam, Michael, and Fiona helped a couple of seasons ago. I am going to write the idea down and hopefully I will still feel like writing it after I am done with my NCIS one.
